The Mission
The mission of Harriman High School is to offer students the opportunity to gain knowledge, skills, and experiences demonstrated by meeting or exceeding state proficiency standards. Students will become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners and contributors to a global society.

Pep Rally - Please come out and support your Blue Devils Men in advance of their trip to Murfreesboro for the State Basketball Tournament on Monday March 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the gymnasium. Everyone is invited. Go Blue Devils!

Get help with homework or to prepare for tests and test retakes or come just for extra practice on the state standards to get ready for the state test in May. The Plato Lab is now open Monday - Thursday.
Plato Students - Plato will meet every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday until 4:15 for the rest of the year.
Mrs. Carlton will hold a Moulage Class on Saturday March the 20th, in her classroom from 9 a.m. to 12:00 noon. First 10 people to apply will be accepted. Others will go on a waiting list. Sign up during Channel One only.
The annual Academic Fest held at Roane State C.C. will be March 25th and 26th. Details here.
From the Devil's Daily - Teachers and Students: The annual Rittenhouse/Emory River 5K Marrathon and ½ marathon is set for April 24th. Funds raised at this event support the Harriman Explorer Post 920. If paid by April 20th, the cost is $20.00 for the half marathon and $15.00 for the 5K. After that date the cost is an additional $5.00. If you have a team of 5 or more participants, the cost is reduced by $5.00 for each of the 5 participants. Entry forms and more information may be picked up in the office.
Tennessee Attorney General issues caution against college “financial aid” pitch
The Harriman High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes is concerned about the people affected by the terrible earthquake in Haiti. They would like to raise awareness to this cause. We honor and show our appreciation to the men and woman of the Army National Guard's 278th ACR. And in particular Staff Sgt. Robert Varagona, WBL Coordinator with Roane County Schools. These volunteer soldiers will be training at Camp Shelby Mississippi until February, at which time they will be depolyed to the Middle East. You may e-mail Mr Varagona at rcvaragona@roaneschools.com
