We are going away for the first time in 3 years for camp at Fall Creek Falls. Our show is going to have a little something for everybody. Come back soon for more information
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR UPCOMING 6TH GRADE STUDENTS: Letters have been mailed to all students who showed an interest in beginning band by returning their information forms. If you missed the deadline for returning your forms, you may still mail them in to the address on the form. If you lost your forms there are extras on the FORMS page. Supply lists are also posted here along with information on local music stores.
We are presently searching for any full or partial uniforms of the old Harriman Jaycee band. Anyone who with any information about these is welcome to call Harriman High School.
Camp this year is at Fall Creek Falls State Park. We have to have a list sent to the park by July 1 of everyone who is going. If you have not sent your form back please bring it to the high school or mail it ASAP. Extra forms are available on the FORMS page
Our fall 2010 Calendar will be posted soon. Many events we attend in the fall have not been scheduled yet, but will be posted as soon as I receive that information.
| Cookie Dough Sale The band boosters will begin their annual cookie dough sale August 26 and it will continue through Sept. 8. Delivery is scheduled for Sept. 26. Start a list of family and friends who might be interested in cookie, fudge and candle products. Choo Choo ClassicThe Choo Choo Classic will be held ???. This festival has been hosted by Hixson High School for many years and has become known as one of the premier festivals in East Tennessee. More information on the Choo Choo Classic may be found here. |

| Nov. 6 State Division 1a Championship The State Div. 1a Championship began at Mt. Pleasant High School in 1978 for bands from schools with less than 480 enrollment. Mr. Ron Meers was the first host director. The contest has moved to several different schools over the years and now resides at Murfreesboro Riverdale High where Mr. Meers currently directs.
