The Harriman High School Band has enjoyed 70 years of excellence since beginning in 1940 as the Harriman High Jaycee Band. A BIG THANKS to Debb Harper who has completed all shadowboxes to archive Harriman High uniforms of previous years. The next time you see Debb around town or in the band room give her your thanks.

We are presently searching for any full or partial uniforms of the old Harriman Jaycee band. Anyone who with any information about these is welcome to call Harriman High School.
Cookie Dough Sale The band boosters will begin their annual cookie dough sale August 19 and it will continue through Sept. 2. Start a list of family and friends who might be interested in cookie, fudge and candle products. The Classic Cookie Fundraising site can be found here if you would like to view their products before the sale. |
Sept. 26 Choo Choo ClassicThe Choo Choo Classic will be held September 26. This festival has been hosted by Hixson High School for many years and has become known as one of the premier festivals in East Tennessee. More information on the Choo Choo Classic may be found here. |

Nov. 7 State Division 1a Championship The State Div. 1a Championship began at Mt. Pleasant High School in 1978 for bands from schools with less than 480 enrollment. Mr. Ron Meers was the first host director. The contest has moved to several different schools over the years and now resides at Murfreesboro Riverdale High where Mr. Meers currently directs.
