About Us

HHS Auditorium

Harriman High School is located in Harriman, an east Tennessee city with a population of approximately 6,000 people. As of the beginning of the 2010-2011 school year, we have an enrollment of approximately 350 students. We are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Our school hosts grades nine through twelve. Our campus can serve in excess of 700 students. Our main building houses classrooms, two computer labs, three science labs, and an auditorium that seats approximately 630 people. Other buildings on campus provide facilities for our library, vocational wood shop, heath occupations, consumer science, band, chorus, cafeteria, gymnasium, and sports complex.

Two elementary schools, Bowers Elementary School and Walnut Hill Elementary School, as well as Harriman Middle School, feed into our high school. We are one of five high schools in the Roane County School System. The other high schools in our county are; Roane County High School,
Midway High School, Oliver Springs High School, and Rockwood High School.
