About Biology
Biology or Biology for Technology is required by the state of Tennessee in order to earn a high school diploma. All students in Tennessee are required to take and pass either Biology or Biology for Technology. During the 2009-2010 school year, the state of Tennessee implemented a Biology End Of Course (EOC) exam that all students are required to take at the end of this class.
Students in AP Biology will only receive a weighted grade if they take the AP Exam. This exam is given in May and is a comprehensive and college level exam.
