Dr. William E. Gouge is a math teacher at Harriman High School where he currently teaches Geometry. He has been an educator for the past 30 years and has served in various roles and capacities. He received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Ed.S. in Administration from Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, and his Masters degree in Math Eduction from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Gouge earned his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Liberty University in Virginia, where his doctoral dissertation was chosen for publication.
Dr. Gouge currently serves as the pastor of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Harriman. His favorite Bible verse is John 14:6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Dr. Gouge has been married to his high school sweetheart, Patti, for 36 years, and they have three children: Paul, Kaity, and Luke. They have one grandchild, Kendyl, who is his Popa’s little buddy. In his spare time, Dr. Gouge enjoys fishing and traveling with his family.
